Why is DALPA silent?

I'm growing exceedinly frustrated with the lack of info from DALPA regarding the company's "highly concessionary proposal". I wish they'd just tell us what the heck's going on!

If you're going to chop off my head, at least take the bag off my head so I can see the ax coming.
 
well, like some MEC said to doug today "it's just a big wish list".. and it just went rolling downhill for this guy after doug got thru with him

I think that's probably why the guy is getting recalled.. I hope that's not the attitude they are ALL taking because otherwise, we're screwed politically!!

I'd like to see DALPA give the company a "wish list" of their own!! but ya, your right.. DALPA has been awfully silent!
 
We are all screwed.

Anything companies ask for in BK court, they get. If this piece of hogwash gets voted down (as it probably will) a judge will just impose it on the group as-is.

No wonder DALPA was silent. Silent woosy roll-over-and-take-it-you-know-where pansies.

I hope they can hear the collective "there's no F in Way" that's coming down the pipeline from the membership.
 
We've actually got a lot more power than that.

It's a fear tactic, the company is as afraid of going in front of the judge than the union is because the results aren't predictable and they're using that fear to get as much out of that opener as they can.

We're lead from the ground up. We're willing to take it to the curb and he's GOT to communicate with his reps. This is war and we're only here because 70% of us were bed-wetting pansies last fall.

Has Bill screamed at his reps yet? Gotta get involved! If his CVG reps aren't willing to go to the curb, recall their candy asses.

If he won't, I'll send you the CVG reps email addy's telephone numbers and doowit!
 
that's what i thought too about the BK judge - just like they did with United...but maybe we could actually make a difference??

yea, if bill doesn't rant and rave, you should! cuz i really think us women need to get involved too... there's no hurting the line with that!

we've got a union that we can use.. we need to use them!
 
I'm pretty sure I'm on my SLC rep's "people to be shot when I reach the bell tower" list. But I'm not paying 1.95% to my union for a limp d*ck response to a unilateral re-declaration of war.

Get Bill on his reps. If he doesn't do it yourself.

Raise HELL.

Doug I hope you guys are sucessful. We didnt have a choice but I also dont think that just asking the pilots for another cut is the saving grace. It wasnt last time and wont be this time. I hate it when I hear how much pilots are paid. I defend the pay everytime. I understand what goes on in the cockpit when the poop hits the fan and the voices are screaming at how bad the situation is. Gerry and the gang need to wake up and do it fast.
 
Thanks a million for the support, serioiusly. If I'm ever thru ATL (I bid away from it!) and you see a 'brother' in a pilott uniform, there's about a 1 in uhh, 10 chance that it's me and I'll get you a Starbucks beverage of your choice.

I wonder how "Clockwork" is going to work with pissed-off employees.

I think I'm thru ATL a few times next month. You still working "B"?
 
I'll bet there are 140 people who'd like to explain to the world how "overpaid and underworked" we all are right about now.

Raping the employees ain't gonna get it done. Remember, you can make a pizza so cheap nobody will eat it.
 
Yea I am still on the 5 am shift and work the north end of B concourse. I know we have a -90 that leaves usually from B30 to CVG. Just let me know when you are coming to the Worldport.
