Why I love lightspeed headsets

Call me back when your lightspeed has 18 years and 5800 hours on it and works like the day you got it. DC #1.

That explains your utter hatred for the 99. I can only imagine the headache from those non ANC sets. ANC+ipod=happy pilot. So what if I periodically have to send that stuff in from druken fornication? I like the other benefits that put them above DCs.

My friend sent his Bose in for service, came back with a new head pad..ear cups, and mic muff. I called Bose to see if they would send me a new mic muff.. no deal. I guess the only way to get it is to send your headset in for a few weeks...just not an option for me.

I've had my LightSpeed headsets for almost 3 years now and I love them. I also had to send them in once because the wire to the mike broke. Very fast service fixing them. I'd recommend lightspeed to anyone.

Thanks for the great feedback everyone! We love our customers, and its good to know that the feeling is mutual.

I wanted to point out a few quick things that you might not know.

First of all, if you purchased your Lightspeed headset after April 1st, 2010, you can choose an aviation charity to receive a donation from us. You do this by completing the warranty registration online.

Second of all, we are giving away $10,000 to one of those aviation charity's, and we want you to tell us who you think is the most deserving. Our foundation website has more details on both of these, and a place to quickly vote for the charity (including angel flight, eaa young eagles, the ninety nines and more.) That website is www.lightspeedaviationfoundation.com.

Our foundation website is separate from our headset manufacturing and sales website, so I hope this falls within the guidelines about "advertising".

Thanks everyone!

Aaron,
Out of curiosity, would this same donation count for corporate accounts? Is there anyway for it to be a tax write off for that account?

Welcome to the forum!

We missed you guys at the Career expo this year, make it out next year!

Thanks for the question - I don't know, but I can find out for you.

Scooter2525,

I am told that since the donations are made in the name of the customer, there is no additional tax writeoff, although for corporate accounts you would possibly be writing off the entire headset as a business expense.

Thanks,
