What is this "go-around" of which you speak?

I know that gliders can glide further than airplanes, but I would like to see a glider shoot an approach and go around.

There's a acro glider instructor in Warner Springs that does go-arounds all the time in gliders... He's not shooting instrument approaches, but he carries a lot of energy down to the runway and he doesn't intend to land, but instead converts that airspeed back into altitude.

If I remember right the USAF does the same thing at their academy in COS
