To be honest I haven't operated with Ospreys. I assume they run them the same as helos.
Helos enter the break in 4 or 6 ship formations and peel off individually to land at approximately 30-second - 1 minute intervals. It's all under VMC. Unlike carrier ops, the LSE is strictly advisory the only thing that is mandatory is the wave off.
Harriers enter the break in 2-ship formations and their interval is slight longer as it's just one spot (6.5) that is normally used. Though sometimes there will be two spots available 6.5 and 9 or 7 and 9.
