gotcha beat in years, altough not in hours. I bought mine in 1991- problem free except I needed a new foam microphone cover a couple years ago because I lost the old one somehow, not because it wore out

As for fit- well, they are adjustable.

You need to twist the rubber band around the mike muff twice, otherwise it is prone to falling off.

No complaints about my 13.4's, they will probably live longer than I will.
 
I have 13.4's that I bought in 2000 and they have never had a problem. I got a free pair of X-11's and I really like them, but I do think they are overpriced.

Bose are WAY overpriced!!
