Just an obsevation. Comments please.
I have just talk to one of my instructors friend and he say that his friend got hired by AE without even having his CFI/CFII ticket.
I mean what is this becoming!!
ahh never knew that but thanks. Now I know.
but yeah, it is ridiculous.
Personally, I skipped it due to the liability involved.
Make sure you point that out at any airline interview.
And that's s'posed to mean what, exactly.
Very simple, people are hearing nightmare stories about CFI school from their room mates who are a few weeks ahead of them. Some people just don't want to sit in a freezing cold room with a damp carpet from 7am to 9pm at night and then be told to study 5 hours that night and to repeat for an entire week. Oh they are backed up doing rec rides, geez, I am stuck in Jax for 3 weeks! Still glad I went and did it though, otherwise I wouldn't be doing as well as I am right now instructing down in Miami!
Well... Ok, the first day started at 8am.bill,
cfi is from 7am-9pm??!:whatever:
