How short we talkin' here?
Any freight pilot who has to wear a uniform has Lost.
Does that include FedEx and UPS?
I presently work for a hat-free joint.
Recently, we started taking delivery of some funny looking airplanes. For some reason there are holes on the side of the fuselage with some clear acrylic type material covering the holes. They put carpet down, and some weird freight containers that look like car seats. Odd.
Anyway, rumor has it, someone asked if we could get hats. Luckily for the individual, that person's name was never made public.
Do they only have the one spinny thing under each wing?
At my company, the hat is optional year-round. We generally have three types that will wear it:
1. New guys
2. Bald guys
3. D-bags
We will give the first two types some slack.
Anybody rock the headset over the hat?

Yesterday, a cute FBO chick complimented me on my uniform, as most freight guys don't wear one. Of course she was hitting on me, however it still proves my point.
Anybody rock the headset over the hat?
We had a guy at Cape Air who made his own hat (where he got the hat brass is beyond me), then proceeded to wear his headset over it on every leg. Good guy, but a rather...interesting fellow.
Who are you kidding, airline pilots don't use rudder pedals.
Is he at Omni now?
