Who wants dinner?

[ QUOTE ]

Just out of curiousity, what was it that changed your mind about cooking?

Oh, nothing's changed my mind. I still love cooking, and am sort of wishing that I went to school for it and flew on the side. I just was so naive before commiting to an aviation degree. I'm just trying not to regret my decisions, but fear that may be the case down the road. That's why I hope to go back to school sometime after I'm done w/ my aviation degree if time/schedule permits. Once again, good luck!

Gottcha!

Well the good news is that it's never too late.

I went out and got a degree in computer science thinking I loved it. When my senior year rolled around I realized that sitting in front of a computer typing all day wasn't my thing, no matter how good the money.

But I got the degree, took the job, and eventually came up with what I wanted to do. The cool side of waiting this long was that that I now have the money to do it without a lot of pain.

One thing to keep in mind is that when you head off to culinary school, a lot of the stuff you did for your aviation degree will transfer so you can focus on the fun classes.

My degree got my out of having to take any general education classes (and saved me almost $10K, not bad if you ask me).

So maybe someday you'll be working in my kitchen on the beach.
