Those guys are the scum of the aviation industry. They shower in Jet-A, they work 150 degree ramps, they empty out aircraft lavatories. They will even bring you coffee and a newspaper if your plane burns Jet-A.

Sometimes they even get the nerve to touch your things and put them in the rental car for you. Bastardos.

Yeah, there was sarcasm, but there's also a bit of a point. Some line guys are great, learn all they can and know what they're doing. Others don't really care, nor do they have any interest in being helpful. Thankfully, I've had far more good experiences than bad.

It was also true. You can learn something anywhere. Even at this one airline, I can't quite think of the name because I haven't heard it too many times, but you can learn how to ruin your career, there.
