my plan is (if i do enroll) to come down study and fly and maybe take a nap every once in a while. no partying or b.s.ing around. how long would it take for an average person to finish this program during spring and summer months?

do you guys offer postions to instruct upon completion of the career programs?

i just turned 20 and im having some difficulties getting my medical but should have it by mid or end march. my plan is to get through flight training and earn my ratings as quick as possible and then get atleast an associates degree and instruct on the side. thanks

15. Housing in on site.
23-24 They are simply a matter of taking a written test, they probably won't make much difference in the grand scheme of things.

6 months is realistic with he proper effort put forth by the student.

We may offer an instruction position based on need, and your performance as a student. That depends on several factors.

Get your medical issues straight before getting into aviation. You can lose your flight privileges if they aren't fixed. You need a first class medical to get the jobs later, so make sure you can get past that hurdle before starting any training.

yes definitely, i wont spent money or sign anything until i have a proper 1st class medical in my hand.

how many instructors are usually available during weekdays? whats average flight time for a student in a day?

i figured 1 hour and 30 min a day for 180 days (6 months) to get to 280 hours. im not in a hurry or trying to set a world record or anything just wanted to know what life for a student pilot at white air was like.

and do students have to pay everything up front or can they go by rating? say i pay the 4-5k for the private and all supplies then pay another amount for the instrument and so on...

Flight time isn't want takes the most time, its the studying. 6 months is a reasonable pace. We limit our load of students to insure that planes and instructors are available.

You would pay 25% up front and 25% every 30 days thereafter. You will be paid in full after 4 months.

dont say that. i drove through kansas and it wasnt that bad. now oklahoma, that is a state that does not need a level.

At least Chanute is in the better part of Kansas. There's at least trees and a few hills to break up the wide open fields.

Tulsa or Wichita. I warn you though, not much to see here in Kansas. :)

strictly buisness.... also i checked out the pictures on your website. do u you guys sell dc headsets?

you guys do accept international students if the students takes care of the visas, tsa and fingerprinting himself right?

Yes and Yes.

We will assist with the Visa and TSA matters as much as possible. We have a current student that needed TSA approval and the process isn't too terrible.

Techflyer did some training here and he may be willing to answer a few questions for you. Looks like we will be adding a couple more aircraft this Spring as well.

i had one more question for the private pilot phase what books do you guys supply student pilots with and how much does the whole private pilot package cost(written only)?

Written Only??

We don't do written only. If you do the Private Pilot package it is as outlined on the website. We use the Jeppesen Text Books.

Has the White Air already got approved for the M-1 or J-1 visa programe for the international student? I am quite interested in the Career Pilot training programe. Besides when will the white air get approved for the part 141.

Its an ongoing process. You can still get M1 Visa and attend its just a little more difficult while we are part 61.
