Which one was the plane crash I'm thinking of?

Which crash was the one where the pilots descended before they were established on the approach, I think they hit the side of a mountain and it was in Washington D.C. or Virginia?

I'm trying to find a good video of it to show my student.

Also, it was an airline flight and it may've not been a mountain but more like a hill....

Here you go:

TWA Flight 514

That accident was the Genesis of the NASA managed ASRA system (commonly called the NASA Form).

Thanks guys. That's the one. However, I can't find the video/simulation that I watched a little while back.... Anybody know where to find that? I thought it was AOPA but didn't see it there...

My folks have a place just on the other side of the top. You can still find pieces of metal scattered around up there and can see the scar just below the ridge line.

TWA 802 or 814

BLAST someone beat me to it... it was 514... I did a presentation on it in high school. Rumor has it that they crashed into a covert CIA listening post or something.

This was the first crash for which I ever read a CVR transcript. I had to give a presentation on it in school, and to add dramatic effect I pointed out how at 2 seconds before impact they were totally oblivious to the mountain rushing at them... for some reason that gave me the chills bad.

Anybody know where to find either a video or blackbox recording audio? I know I've seen or heard it before but can't find it for the life of me.
