Which dispatch school?

Hello all! I'm new on here and have been reading the wealth of information you all provide...thank you!

I'm thinking about attending dispatch training in Denver and wondering if any of you went to Jeppesen or Pan Am there? Curious as to your thoughts...any bad experiences at either? Also, if you train in a certain area, are you more likely to get hired there as opposed to across the country?

Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks :)

@F9DXER... mainly because I'm from the NW and thinking I would probably enjoy the training the most somewhere closer to home. I have read through Sheffield's & IFOD's websites as well and they all seem like good schools but spending some time in DEN sounded pretty good to me. Just wondered if anyone knew if those schools were as good. They ALL claim to be great but word of mouth goes a long way. I also wondered if I went to school in DEN would I have a better shot @ getting work out there as opposed to the other side of the country. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks :)

You can always go to Green River Community College in Auburn, WA. That is where I went. Great program that you can do for a degree or get it done in one quarter. Great school, better teachers and close to home.

As far as regional favoritism for certain schools I'm not sure that it makes a whole lot difference. However, certain examiners do work for certain airlines and they might be able to put in a good word for you. I would ask each school you are researching about that.
