FatBastard, Agreed the fleet is old, crusty and nasty. But I really think we just need MORE airplanes. Anyone that remotely thinks they are bringing us NEW cirrus this month, is smoking grass. Now the management is SLOWLY coming around to the instructors. Stupid crap like providing cookies at a meeting and thinking we should feel the luv. Poor Judy (mom) that works there has probably been tasked with the job of raising spirits. She wouldn't have to if they just PAID the workforce like they should! A THANKYOU every now and then wouldn't be a bad idea either.

The blind are finding their way, Right out the Fricken door. I see the future not too bright unless some people pull their heads out and FAST!

Did anyone see the article in the front of this months AOPA magazine about DCA. It read more like an advertisement than an article.
 
Was there today. Definitly a different place. And I've only been gone for a couple of months! I'm noticing less and less grads, coming back to instruct. I'm glad I bailed when the gettin was good.
 
Here's an update for you Doug. We were told the first new aircraft would be on the ramp the first week of March. I knew it would never happen! What a joke, it's one thing to give people hope, but another thing not to offer a reach around after a good Bu## #$#@ing.
 
Even more unbelievable....I assumed that before they threatened a DELTA employee with disciplinary action at DELTA, they would have at the very least have got some backing from an actual DELTA exec/manager/supervisor.

I always said that some people at DCA are delusional and truly believed that they are Delta Airlines....but this takes it to a whole new absurd level.

I guess the Delta marketing must be so effective that it's even working on the Bulls**t artists themselves. Either that or they've got tired of threatening their own employees with "TERMINATION!" everyday and thought they'd move on to a more challenging target.
