Where I've Been...

Well, My friend, I am sorry that it went this way, but now...today you are free to rebuild a life in the way you see fit, with the maturity and knowledge you have gained through this very sad and temultous time. As always, you know I am a phone call, or jumpseat away.

I wish I were free to hop down and see you, but I'm sure the daftman can handle the mission:D

be safe...

and the kids will still be close?

Yes! Thankfully, I won that round. The kids will remain close.

...For those of you who have been wondering, here is the Readers Digest version of why I've been absent for about 3 or so months:

Divorce.

At the end of May, beginning of June, my (now ex) wife informed me that she was unhappy......and then eventually done...with our marriage.

We were together for 9 years and married 7. (no "itch" jokes please...they are not funny nor true in any sense of the word...thank you.)

As of approximately 9 a.m. this morning, I became officially "un-married."

We have a(n) (almost) 5 year old and a 1 year old. Thankfully, they will know/remember nothing different.

Obviously, my absence from JC was due to my need to focus on what is happening now.

Some of you know and I thank you for your encouragement throughout this process!!

In short - I'm moving forward and looking forward to what's ahead.

God bless you all!
Stan

Sorry to hear that man. I can tell you from my own experience, that is might be hard for a while. However, a new world of possibilities opens in front of you. Eventually you'll find someone else, you will enjoy the wonders of falling in love again, and you WILL reconstruct your life. Believe me brother.

My best wishes for you, Stan.
