And you couldn't get her to take you along.......I mean somebody has to be her assistant to carry her camera, that heavy laptop and whatever. I love that this carrier's call sign is Rough Rider. I heard on the news last last month that she would be coming back to San Diego. Must be where she is headed then. Be worth a trip down there to see it for sure. Lucky woman. How cool of an assignment is that! She looks like she's having a blast.

This is the kind of thing that happens when you cover and travel with Really Important Government People.

I'd like to tag along but there are some men in black suburbans who drive really, really fast that would have a problem with me showing up. Besides, on this trip I'd probably just jump up and down and squeal like a little girl at the Ospreys and Hornets. Don't know how much help I'd be.

The cat shot would have been awesome, though.

Still. I'm glad she's home now. I got her a Stearman ride a few weeks ago and she's almost turned the corner on me owning a taildragger of some kind now...
 
Very cool. I used to spend hours there in Vultures Row. The view sure beat the data center on the ship where I worked.

Ray who?? Please tell me it's not the same Ray as Cujo? Can't have a good member of the JC community being lumped in with the trash that a certain Envoy pilot is. (I don't really care who this Ray is. Just more making sure I haven't missed any news that someone has moved on...who never should...from the regional level).

Hell no, that Ray is to weak of a pilot to fly here. @Screaming_Emu's sim partners name is Ray. He is a bad ass with a ton of tail wheel time.
 
She's pretty cute killbilly…….that kind of journalist is the most welcome on boats that have not seen land for months :) I remember seeing the CNN girlies and getting excited
