Damn. I worked for the wrong Picto contractor.

I also flew more than 1,000 in one twelve month period during my time at Landcare and subsequently in JNU. That included having most of a month off as I transitioned between the two.

In my year in JNU I flew 900 hours and had 1,700 landings.
I think AA is the highest paid(IF you have a season like I did) with more flight time, but I think you guys didn't have to deal with FBOs/booking hotels/rental cars and getting permission to bring the company mechanic in to do maintenance in an FBOs hangar. That was a real pain in the bum sometimes.

Actually we did all of the above except it went on company credit cards, aside from the rentals which went on personal cards and was then reimbursed. Hotels had to be under $85 if I remember correctly and we got a "Room Bonus" of $25 a day if we shared. Pay was straight salary and no per diem.

flyinggreasemnky was one of our pilots and he got the pleasure of doing oil changes, etc, if you happened to be stationed with him.

Back when I was flying RJs, my rolling 12 month total exceeded 1100 hours at a few points! That was a lot of flying.

Doing a much more leisurely 400 or 500 hours a year at the legacy level now.... Total is around 8500.

More money, more time off!

In 2007 I upgraded with 3300 hours... Flew roughly 800/year after that.. So I assume north of 7000.

This year I have flown 0 hours for pay :)
