What’s up with Delta first class and legroom?

Yeah, I’m a frequent Delta flyer, and that’s BS. Last flight I was served Parmesan crusted steak with butter pecan gelato for dessert. That’s pretty typical for a flight over 3 hours.
For me, most of my flights are around the 3-hour mark or less. I guess I'll have to suffer through water and crackers next time I am on Delta.

So you sat in FC and all they offered you was Cheez its and water? Nothing else?
There were other drink options but I was bringing a plane home. The food options were picked over by the time she reached me in the second row.

Yeah man, I'm wondering how long the flight was. That seems a lot like what they serve on a TPA-ATL flight, which is a whopping 40 minutes...
An hour and 40. We even had to request water while we were at the gate and it wasn't at our seats when we boarded.

I always ride in DAL first class, and I’d say about half the people there on average are free upgrades, not people who bought the seat. I’m sure that’s factoring in to how much space the airline is willing to give up for it. That said, as someone of average height, I’ve never had complaints about the leg room, and I’m frequently in 737s, Mad Dogs, and 717s. I think the product is excellent.
Every week I commute on DL and the upgrade list is at least 20-30 people+

Everybody with any medallion status, from gold up, I believe, can request an upgrade on that air line. I hit diamond status a couple of years and there were flights I couldn't upgrade on out of JAX because people with higher status than I were also on board.
