I hadn't been on there in a while, and logged in today... And so many of the job postings when i click on them say... "this job has been filled or removed by the poster" or something like that...

Whats the deal? it happens on an extremely high number of the ones i click on?

Because it's there slimy way of con'ing people into paying for a subscription.

I got one good job from 350 when times were good. I got two good jobs from networking on JC when times were terrible. Draw your own conclusions.

All of my jobs have come from great networking, and not even online, Through people I got to know and established friendships with. I would never pay for a site to get a job. To many free ones out there, its all about WHO YOU KNOW!

Pretty much a scam website, I had a membership for a year. I'm not pissed because I never found work off of it, but because most of the crap is bogus. The way I figure it is:

1. 75% of the jobs up there are "hey look fly a 747 in China!", which I dream of but I don't have the time for yet, and if you do you've been around the industry long enough to know you don't need to pay 50 bucks to find out who it is. Just call up Rishworth, PARC, VOR holdings, and whoever else and see who offers you the best package since they are all the same contracts...

2. We've found on here some jobs are where the website says "hey its slow we need to attract people so lets repost this from two years ago"

3. And the Part 121 jobs on there you can just guess by the minimums and type of airplane.... for example "PART 121 Q400 FIRST OFFICERS NORTHEAST AND TEXAS 1000TT 100ME!"
...probably Colgan:cool:

I've got 4 jobs off the website over the years and several offers. I only pay 29 a year. Guess I'm the odd one.

I'm part of the 'anti pay site' crowd. Every job I've gotten has been through networking, JC, or just walking into their office and bugging them.
