What's up in Burke Lakefront KBKL?

Off tomorrow and have nowhere to go. All local destinations are exhausted. NYC is boring. Never been to Cleveland what's up there? Is it a good destination to kill couple three hours? Is KBKL friendly for wood prop driven guy?

Ah, wish I could come with you. I live about 35 min north of BLM in Jersey. I fly past Burke all the time going into CLE. Looks like a cool airport!

+1 for RRHOF. I love the airport and the RRHOF enough to have been there 3 times for vacationing in the last 4 years or so from Chicago. The downtown area is nice with a lot of good resturaunts in walking distance from the airport. One of the better Landmark's that I have been too. Great service and excellent rates on the nearby hotels.

If I didn't have to work we could of had a meet and greet. Like others said rock and roll hall of fame is right there. You could spend more than three hours in that place.

The snow blows sideways and if you're a freightdog, you might as well be a Soviet Fighter-Bomber for all the service they'll show you. Never landed at BKL without a crosswind, or with a kind word.

With that said, it's really close to downtown Cleveland, which is sort of like being really close to the ninth circle of Hell, so that's something. I guess.

Someone post the "hastily made Cleveland tourism videos" for this man stat - I would, but I'm at work and I can't get onto Youtube.

Having instructed at BKL, BKL is home of the X-wind landing. If you get a crew car you can get some lunch downtown at Harry Buffalo. or you can walk 2 blocks to the RRHOF. All good for a couple of hours.

BKL is a really cool airport. Like others have said, RRHOF is right there, and downtown is a short drive to lots of good restaurants.

Absolutely boring. Today. What to do here?
