Whats the real deal?

Yes. But, there aren't a whole lot of places that hire sic's for 135 freight. I know Key Lime used to hire sic's (I believe they still do... although they currently aren't hiring)

"Hired" isn't quite the right word. Key Lime didn't hire their "SICs"... the individuals sitting right seat were paying for their airplane rides.

Apparently Quest is in the market for some Lears. I know they had a bunch of Bankair's MU-2s for a heartbeat before the FAA took a look and grounded them. Now they're leasing Air 1st's old mitsis. If Bankair's lears are in the same shape as their mistis, you might have a customer...

I heard that Air 1st gave notice to most of their pilots. I hope that rumors not true.

True. Why do you think I had to get another job? As I understand it, they'll be down to three or four airplanes, the DO, the CP, and the boss. Basically just keeping the certificate alive. The Quest lease is pretty much a done deal, apparently. Supposedly the RUF CP will be doing some training for them soon.
