Riding my Harley to Washington, DC for Rolling Thunder. We are having friends over Sat pm thru Mon so I will only be doing a day trip. It is an awesome and somber thing to go to the Memorials and pay due respect. I can't tell you what it is like to go there with so many veterans around with a common desire to honor those fallen and those dare I say forgotten, nay they are NOT forgotten! I'll say a prayer for us all.

Hopefully I'll find some sort of Memorial to attend while on the road. For everybody on the road, drive safely this weekend...there are some looneys out there.

It hasn't been below 97 here in about a week at least...even breaking into the triple digits.
Next time mention you don't want to hear about it from those out here in West Texas either.:nana2:

Since I didn't get to go home to go drag racing with my dad, I'm sitting here listening to it on the internet and drinking margaritas. My buddy has some family coming over later today so we're going to BBQ, drink, drink, and probably drink some more. So if anyone is near Chattanooga and wants to come up Lookout Mountain...hit me up!

I had 11+ months seniority when I bid it, and I'm sure there will be other senior floaters bidding it next time it comes open...right around winter time
. The reason us former floaters like it is it's the same schedule we have as floaters (8/6) with overtime every day and an overnight (per diem) on Saturdays in Chicago.
