What was your first job after getting your dispatch license?

That's something to be glad for absolutely, but a situation, as an example, which discourages me lol.

I know it's a bit late but I know a majority of the people who were actively looking for jobs in my class got them right out of Jeppesen, might be one of those things where you get your cert matters.

Now onto something that is helpful, I was applying to every opportunity that popped up regardless if it was a 121 or a 135 carrier. By the time I left Jeppesen I had three offers on the table, I was going though linked in, jeppesens job placement and avjobs. Just keep on at it and you will get picked up in no time, some of the places that I heard from had great pay even though they were not a 121 carrier.

Why not throw another story in. I got my license in Dec. 2015 and had applications in with about 7 airlines during the last two weeks of dispatch school. I had three thanks but no thanks letters from airlines I really wasn't too bummed about. OO and YV were my top choices for a few reasons. I love being out west and being from Nevada I could still be close to home. Also, considering the majors they fly for, the flight benefits aren't too shabby ( as much as we like to complain about non reving sometimes). Anyway I never heard from OO and YV offered me the job the day after getting my license and was moved to PHX in two weeks. There have been a few in my class that still do not have a job because they were holding out for a specific airline for whatever reasons. Like many have said a lot of it depends on how bad you want it and a mix of other personal factors.
