Quick question if you guys don't mind. I'm a bit lost at the moment, and no one really has an answer for me regarding this. I've recently acquired my PPL (I'm 21 atm), but do to my color blind issue, they won't let me move onto IR and so on. I can see colors just fine, and can differentiate between red and green just fine, but according to that dot test, I'm not capable of continuing on my ratings. What do you guys suggest I do at this point? I'm currently residing in NJ and would greatly appreciate some guidance on what to do. I'm not necessarily looking to make a career out of Aviation, but I would Atleast like to fly at night, as well as aquire my IR.
