I've got a 24 hour MCI layover this Saturday...any must see's in the city??

Nah, just kidding (and I don't want to get the beat down from the bride on the other side of the couch).

But there's actually a couple of good jazz and blues bars that were near where we layover at.

Downtown is semi-interesting, but generic.

Depends where you guys stay. We used to stay in a hotel right down in the mix with a ton of bars and restaurants. Sorry I dont remember the name of the district. But now we are over by the convention center. Decent area with a bunch of bars within walking distance. I usually get dinner/beers/and shoot pool at a place called the Quaf. Quiet place with hot waitresses and really cheap beer and food. Enjoy.

Get some BBQ at Fiorrella's Jack Stack. If you are any where near downtown, check out the new Power and Light District. Then there is the Majestic (Jazz Bar/Restaurant). Tons and tons more to do!
