What kind of logbook do you keep?

Why do you record their names in your logbook?

I do that with all the IPs, WSOs, and students that I've flown with for the same reason -- it's neat to go back and see whom you've flown with and when.

Logbook Pro, and APDL nothing else. IMO paper logbooks are a waste of time and energy. Especially when it comes to 8710s. With APDL and LBP, no crazy adding up times and transferring totals page to page. I backup my logbook thru my yahoo and gmail accts.

I keep both paper and electronic. Both are up to date as well. I got 4 months behind on the paper one before and decided never again!

I still keep a paper logbook- partly out of superstition that I'll get furloughed if I don't keep it up! Plus a logbook really tells a story... I know I'll enjoy looking back on it many years from now and seeing where I went, who I flew with and so on.
