What is your goal

I just wanna fly for a fair wage for fair work... It seems almost impossible to find. I don't have an aspiration for the airlines, so in reality a caravan cargo/px would be perfect.

Oh please for the love of all that is holy unless you're getting mad dough for it like one of the guys on here set your sights higher than the caravan.

Im serious, man! Doesn't just have to be the plane, it's the life I'm looking for. Short hops that bring me home at night, "normal" schedules, some manual labor involved, some overnights. I'll eat that up. Of course, I'd have an issue with the pay...

One word. Alaska.
I believe you and I would jump on it the first chance I got, but the wife hates the cold. Out west (AZ preferably) or somewhere where I could live in the country would be incredibly choice

My goal:

Make fat stacks until the rubber band snaps.

On a serious note. Major airline with #MMMTO. I'd like to eventually do international flying, at a carrier where if I don't enjoy international I can bid back to domestic.

Exactly. Major as young as possible and then sack away enough money while still doing things I love to do. Models and bottles etc... Retire.

We'll all call @Derg "The Old Man."

No resemblance, but still, that's what you call the dude in charge:

For me? I have no idea. After getting my license at 17, running out of money, then going into the tech industry to "finish up", I'm kinda enjoying starting over in aviation. It's not like I've managed to save any money this whole time, but I have managed to have a whole lot of fun. In a way, it's all gravy. Though to be honest, I can't do what I'm doing now forever—I've never been content to settle, and I've always wanted to explore. And frankly, flying single piston-engined wheelplanes at max gross weight over unlandable, mountainous terrain in 500' ceilings with a mile of visibility is bound to catch up to one eventually*.

I don't have an "end game"—for me, everything I do is more or less what I want to do. I don't know what I want to do next.

Perhaps surprisingly, I'm considering the (er, bigger) regionals. Or float flying. Or something in a twin. I've always loved multiengine airplanes, especially if they have radial engines. ^.^

So yeah, I dunno. Can't imagine I'll ever fly for a major—I spent a bit of time on the online degree thing, and couldn't deal with paying money for that level of inanity, or having condescending English teachers with terrible grammar telling me that I can't begin a sentence with a conjunction—but I wouldn't mind flying for a "proper" airline at some point. Especially in a E120 or similar.

For a while.

Have fun, do what you like, explore new things.

It's all gravy. ^.^
