The hash marks looks like 116.0 no longer works or is used, just TACAN freq 80(Y), which is odd since I thought it was 107(X).

OK ignore the lined through frequency....Sorry I was not very clear. What is the little black square for?
This is a question on the ATP written and I cannot seem to find the answer on a chart legend.

I think it was an old way of saying HIWAS because I Cannot find this square on newer enroute charts.

Yeah it has to be...Here is the same thing listed in a current NACO/NOS chart legend.
Stupid FAA..Update your damn tests.

Just curious, how old is the chart that you got that symbol from. TWEBs have been decommissioned in the lower 48 for almost 2 yrs. This is what the current symbol looks like.

I dunno I found it on an older NACO legend. The point is, the ATP written has questions like this....So they update the charts but not the tests. That is stupid.
