What happened to Feb/March PEPCs?

Has anyone heard updates on February and March PEPCs?

Does "We will be scheduling PEPCs in February and March" mean that they will be in Feb/March or that in Feb/March they will decide when to host the next ones?
How much notice do you need to prep for a PEPC? February is around the corner!

Just hoping that the PUBNAT3/4/HI/AK folks might be able to get in on it with the PUBNAT2 stragglers.

Congratulations! You have been chosen for further consideration for an Air Traffic Control Specialist (ATCS) position at the Miami International Air Traffic Control Tower (MIA) in Miami Florida.

The next step in the process is for you to decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer and if you accept which procedure you would like to use to complete your pre-employment processing. Your options are:

1. Pre-Employment Processing Centers (PEPCs). This is an expedited method of processing that includes your interview, security screening, medical evaluation, psychological evaluation and drug test. All of these activities are completed in one day (approximately 7 hours from the time you arrive). If you choose to attend a PEPC, please be advised that all travel costs incurred will be at your own expense.

2. “Traditional” Non-PEPC Process. This process begins with you being scheduled for an interview at an FAA facility location close to where you live. If you have successfully completed your interview and are recommended, the Aviation Careers Division will provide you with the information required to schedule the remaining pre-employment processing steps.

We have scheduled PEPCs for the week of November 17-21st in Kansas City, MO and the week of January 26-30th in Los Angeles, CA. All terminal candidates will be processed on Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday of those weeks. We will be processing approximately 50 candidates per day; therefore we may not be able to accommodate everyone at this time.

We will be scheduling PEPCs in February and March. If you want to attend a later PEPC we will let you know the dates and locations as soon as possible.

What you need to do today or not later than the close of business on October 20, 2008, respond to this email with the following information:

1. Decide if you would like to accept or decline this offer. If you decide to decline the ATCS position being offered, let us know. This decision must be in writing. If you want to discuss issues related to your future eligibility for other facilities, you need to contact the Aviation Careers Division at -------------.

2. Review your contact information provided above (name, address, phone numbers, email address) and provide any corrections or updates. If you have not updated your information in ASAP, you need to do so in addition to providing corrections to us for the interview process.

3. If you would like to attend the Kansas City PEPC, please let us know your date preference: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday - November 17, 18 or 19.

4. If you would like to attend the Los Angeles PEPC, please let us know your date preference: Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday – January 26, 27 or 28.

5. If you would like to proceed with the “Traditional” Non-PEPC process, let us know and we will get you scheduled for an interview near where you live.

6. If you would like to attend a future PEPC, let us know and we will notify you as soon as the final details have been worked out.

We will acknowledge your response by return email. If you choose one of the PEPCs, we will confirm your reservation in that email. Another message will follow from our PEPC coordinator with your appointment time and additional information you will need, forms to complete, etc.

We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible and definitely by Monday, October 20. Remember: The earlier you respond to this message, the better your opportunity will be for attending the Kansas City or Los Angeles PEPCs.

I would not surprised if those PEPCs happen, it would be really short notice and I don't think the PUBNAT 3 panels have even met yet.

Where did you hear about these? Did emails go out yet?

If those dates and times are true, the folks from panels this week could surely be fit in. We're now at the exact same position in the process as the PUBNAT2 folks who haven't interviewed/PEPCed yet. We'd have the same amount of warning.

PUBNAT3, PUBNAT4, PUBHI, and PUBAK have all completed finals and are waiting for interviews and PEPC invites.
 
i sat and ########ted with some top dog at my local airport. he oppend up his email and said i have all the pepc dates and locations if you would like to know.

Thats would be awesome if you would share. Did he mention anything on which groups would be going to the PEPC's?
 
I talked to someone at the FAA with highly classified information. He told me he was the guy who was responbile for making the dates and setting the locations for all PEPCs. I asked him what he knew and he was like, lets talk. So we sat down to talk. He spoke first but the words seemed garbaled. I asked him to repeat what he said, and he said he needed a drink. I ordered him a drink with his meal. After he finished eating he wanted some dessert. I got him some cherry pie with a side of vanilla ice cream. I got myself a slice too. Let me tell you it was good! :nana2:
Anyhow, back to the information. He finally told me that he would tell me tomorrow. So when I hear back from him I will come back and post everything "he" told me. ;)

Wow this guy really gets arounds, he may just be better then santa clause all the people on this site in one night....just amazing
