What does your screen name mean?

I was flying freight at the time I joined JC. Instead of an actual employee number, our pilot IDs for the seniority list were the first 3 letters of our last name (W-I-L), followed by the first letter of our first name (D).

So, there's the "wild" part.

I am also a chick who was proud to fly freight. And, "wildfreightbroad" was too long. So, wildfreightess it is.

And I really am, or at least I was, wild!
I think I'm in love!

edit: this post is useless without pics. :D

The first multi engine plane I flew (under the supervision of a corportate pilot/ MEI who became my multi engine instructor) was in the King Air 300 (BE300)

And the flight took place in North Carolina, where I live. NC.

It was an amazing experience to fly the turboprop and part of me still digs the idea of flying them, even though I have a jet regional airline job now (Avatar pic of E170 flight director).
Spent a year in the corporate aviation world flying turboprops part time, and enjoyed it.

Captain D, you are, and ever shall remain, a rampaging Freight Beast. Winning the Race To 5, wowing the male controllers. Drinking and cursing like a sailor but going home to sweet cheeks to garden. I don't even hold it against you that you're an RJ Captain, now. That's about the highest praise of which I'm capable. When are you and Lloyd going to visit us again in God's Accident On The River?

Mine's from the good ole days of geocities. I had my own website mikecweb. First name + First letter of last name + web. I'm honestly getting sick of it and I'll probably change it at some point but my email is the same too. @stiggyiggy is my twitter

It was 1999 and I had just bought my computer to "surf" the "Internet" and mail letters to my Dad without the postal service. I noticed I needed a lot of screen names and logins and nobody seemed to use their real name. We all had "toons". So I got to thinking. The F-16 is my favorite airplane and I'm a mechanic that (at the time) desires to get into the heavier maintenance side of aircraft. F-16s go to Hill AFB for their big phase so "falconvalley" was born. Never been, though.

Used to fly for the Internet's most active online virtual Airline on Microsoft Flight Simulator when I was a kid. www.flyunity.com ( I got furloughed and they eventually went out of business after they went bankrupt)

GE(General) NOT(Notice) A briefing item no controller cares about. IE, the Moose Tail police department in Saskatoon is changing its call sign to SNOW. I'm 2,000 miles away, this is pertinent how?

I think Herr Käse means Mr. Cheese :)

Weeellllll if you wanna get specific about it, Gruyère is a type of cheese made in Switzerland. So, technically my name still means Mr. Cheese, although specifically it's Mr. Gruyère. I just simplify it to "Mr. Cheese" for the general public, since I usually get confused looks when I start talking about cheeses like Gruyère and Comté.

:D

Edit: But I'm pleased to see you have a knowledge of Deutsch!
