What does the crystal ball say about DX hiring soon?

I'm a new DX er out of School in the Dallas area. Anybody know what the outlook is like for Hiring in the near future?

Alaska, UPS, and United are all hiring right now. So, I'd expect some positions in the regionals to open up as those get filled.

There's always hiring going on somewhere. But generally, operations are coming off the busier summer schedule, and the holidays are nearby, so I would expect more to surface at the beginning of the year.

I wish we were going to hire in the next year or two at AA but not looking so good. My seniority needs a lot of improvement. Also not looking forward to the projected workload for next year.

I was talking to some AA dispatchers here at the ADF summit who were saying the same thing. It's a shame. I was pretty shocked when they told me the estimate of how many they needed to hire, yet how poor the hiring outlook was for the next good chunk of time.
