What does it take to become a 777 or 747 or 380 captain?

I hear the piggers are gonna go all the way this year. Piggers are #1!

Now doesn't it make you feel better?

The pigs have won tonight…

And they can all sleep soundly.

Because everything is alright.

Am I insensitive to those in the stadium who are freezing their asses off?

No darling. You are smarter ...... or less of a fan. Now get over there and buy me a Terrible Towel!

And, will not getting frostbite and staying warm help me become a 747 captain?

Perhaps. Depends upon home much of a Steeler (or Dolphins) fan you have determining your bid ......

How about that snow in Philly?! Now that is American football weather!

1. You are going to hell for that grand injustice to the people paying $100's of dollars to sit out in the cold and watch FOOOTBAWL.
2. Not getting frostbite means that you've never worked hard by (a) flying a Metro single pilot and (b) Never having a real job which always involves working out in the cold — even in warm climes like Hawaii.

Doom. Epic Doom.

Alright then, I guess I'll stay a 737 captain flying the shuttle between Hell and Newark. Sigh....

I see the stadium is enveloped in snow, I'm going to slip some socks on...

So, Canadian, have you gotten your BoyToy into hockey yet? :)

I am trying with my best effort: Coyotes season ticket glass seats. Better ask him though ......

I like Hockey, maybe been to four or five games, compliments of Tori. I've been invited to an upcoming game in Phoenix vs the Maple Trees. I'm just hoping she will buy me dinner too. I like the fact that most of the players are missing teeth.

No one flying any jet is in the weather. Few people flying any kind of turbine equipment are in the weather. If you're airplane normally goes above 20k, you do not fly in the weather.
People flying in the weather are unpressurized and never see anything above 10k.

Two things.

In the RJ it wasn't unusual to fly legs at 6000 to 10000 feet. Hell, we normally did PHL-ABE at 4000 or 5000.

When you do 6 or 8 legs a day you have to climb up through the weather (Denzel style) 6 or 8 times and you have to descend through it (often much worse because you are there for a lot longer) 6 or 8 times.

TL;DR: Jet guys doing multiple landing days spend a fair amount of time below 10,000 feet.

Heh. Why don't you do some flying in my neck of the woods.

I think I've equaled that, may even have hit 18 once...not sure. But the Cherokee doesn't hold 5000 lbs!
Ouch! 18 is a lot. Luckily for the most part you have self loading cargo. :) I like doing drill rigs because you drive them on, then drive them off.
