I wanted to get other pilots opinions about the new ad from SWA that makes a mockery of other airlines charging for items due to fuel prices and oil. What do you think of the low fares that SWA has and how long will they last? Best of luck to all in these uncertain times.....

I think and I'm not an airline pilot but I know about business. I think all these low fare airlines are paying out more. Then they will make? Or sooner or later they will... The numbers might be looking good now. But I don't think for long. This is just a wild guess... SWA is a great airline and I'm sure they have good business. But since the FAA inspection thing I heard about and they got fined I'm sure it hurt them...
