What do you think?

i got to drive a MKIII once....

i was doing 100+ on a small back road before i even thought to check the speedo.

VERY comfortable high speed lux-sport cruiser

haha yeah it's a big oxymoron, but it comes stock on the Civic Si. Performance tires on a Civic EX is even more strange.

160HP engine + stiffer factory suspension + stiff front/rear sway bar + light weight car = pretty decent performance for a front-wheel drive econo-box :D

But I invite some of you to drive it, it handles pretty well and screams quickly through it's 8,250 RPM redline :rawk:...AngelFuree and UAL747 has taken it out for a spin a few times :D

meh, I'll stick with my Subaru, even if its not a WRX :-P

Yeah I think that car would be a lot of fun! It would be fun to have a RWD up here for screwing around in the winter. A kid back in my high school used to have the celica supra and seemed to have a lot of fun with it.

I was looking in to the Mk.III Supra for a while (the one with the 7M-GTE). It was built back when 230hp was considered a lot :D. They're heavy and have head gasket issues (cast-iron block with an aluminum cylinder head equals chewed up head gaskets) but despite that I think it would make a good high speed cruiser.

That was actually my first car. Except it was in Japan and was a twin turbo. Was automatic unfortunately, but it was also $200, so I was willing to make the tradeoff.

"thiiiiis is our coooounnntry" *barf*

you know its weak when you have to play the patriotism card to sell stuff.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

OMG!!!!!! You have me laughing so hard here because whenever I hear that stupid commercial I always sing it for the next 10-20 minutes to annoy my roommate!!! .......and because you know very well who it's marketed to. :D :D :D :D

Edit: Here's the commercial...

Alright I did it.... I actually paid a shop $15 this time to put them on because I was too lazy :D

This is how you fit 4 wheels/tires into the front seat of the car :rotfl:

whoever invented the patriotic-pro-war-minivan/car-ribbon-magnet is a freakin billionaire by now, im sure of it.

:banghead:

I had never seen a single one of those STUPID ribbons until I moved here. LOL

Then when I went back home for winter break I saw a yellow ribbon. It was on a Pontiac Bonneville with Wisconsin plates. :banghead:

You KNOW people really fall for that type of marketing. It's ridiculous.

I don't know which is sadder, the fact that they resort to playing the patriot card... or the fact that people buy into it. kinda reminds me of the movie Team America: World Police - "AMERICA! ###### YEAH!!!"

Edit/tangent: okay, so aparently if I type the letter "F" with three asterisks after it, EVEN THAT gets screened out by whatever filters this website uses. It replaced it with 6 number signs instead. So basically my attempt to censor myself got censored. :banghead:

What's even worse is when people criticize you for driving an import. I like the guys that think they're being patriotic and buying a ford f-150. Um, yeah, those are assembled in Canada!!!:laff: I really only notice them playing the "patriotic card" on trucks. Toyota is even playing into it now. "The all new tundra, assembled in texas...."

Look at the demographic, it makes sense, but is pretty sad. haha Ford(the heavy duties only) and Chevy still make the best trucks though. Toyota finally has a descent offering in the half ton market and would definitly consider cross shopping between the big three.

Yeah, all you have to do is type the f-word that rymes with tµck. Use "µ" for "u" or "ċ" in place of "c" (if you take a close look there's a dot above the c).

But don't do it! :D
