What are you getting paid as a CFI?

I suppose I should answer this thread, I just realized I didn't.

The worst I ever did was $15/h. That was dispicable. Bounced around to a few places, one that wanted me to pay out 30% even though I was freelance and answer the phone. That didn't last long.

Long story short, and 7 years later I'm billing $50 to my current students, all students who start after 1/1/11 will bill at $60. This is with the exception of Veterans and Law Enforcement who get a ~25% discount. I've got a tough job, but I've also never been shot at while protecting my rights like they have. I typically bill block, but in some particular cases I don't but that is certainly not a habit.

I make 17 an hour off HOBBS time only. I made $2000 total this year off of instructing. Very hard times but at least I am halfway to my bachelors and am the only one working out of all my friends lol. I might drop classes this semester and get a better job. I can't afford gas sometimes anyone know anyplace hiring with about 350 TT and 115 DUAL?

$20.50 an hour, flight and ground. Started at 11.50 part time private only, moved up to 17.50 when I went full time with commercial/inst students, then went up to 18.00 when the school I worked for bumped the rates up last summer, then up to my current pay grade when I got my MEI and started working with Multi students.
