Jet most definitely doesn't evaporate faster than 100LL. Jet fuel hangs around.

I can spill an entire bucket of 100LL on me and it will be gone and dry after a couple minutes time. Jet fuel? Stays with me all day long.

Smells gross. Hard to get out of boots too. Experience speaking, over-wing fueling on a CJ2 or something. Bubble, bubble, "Oh snap!" followed by a bath, and jet fuel smells for the rest of the day.

My TwinBo's engines are certificated for 80/87. The only problem is finding some.

Yup. Dad's 1976 C-182 is rated primarily for 80/87, as were most of the light singles then.
