Well FINALLY....

Piece of Trash
....looks like my CFI days are coming to an end. Interviewed at Pinnalce on Monday and got the call on Thursday for a March 6th class date. Here's hoping I don't screw up in training. :)

Doug, Kristie. I really don't think I could have done this well without this site and all of the hard work and long hours put in by you and the other admins. Thanks for all that you do. This place has been both a source of info and motivation for me, and without it and the people that post here, I might have taken a totally different road. I DEFINATELY would never have even heard of Skymates, which was what really helped me out. The training I got there as well as the opportunity to instruct there is what really launched everything. Luca, Ryan and LeAnne all run a class operation, and I honestly feel privileged to have been a student and an instructor there.

For the record my times at the interview were 950TT with 250ME. Due to hardly taking ANY days off, I was able to go from new instructor to my current level in just over 8 months. Proof that you CAN get there without any sort of bridge program if you set your mind to it.

Congrats...looks like you have come a long way from hanging out in the bins of an airplane. Now you can walk around and look important and the rampers laugh at you when you hit your heard while bending down to look at the gear.

Good luck in class!!!!

*sigh*....why am I always the last to find out!

:D

Hey, you knew a full hour before I did!

Congrats Steve!!!! You've come a long way from those lowly, lonely days at the bottom of the JC "Hot or Not" competition! :D

COOL! Maybe they'll stick you in Detroit and you'll be in Bing some days. Let-me-tell-you about 5 airlines trying to leave at once at 6am in snow, with only 2 deice pads!

Congratulations! That is awesome!

:nana2:

I have a few friends that fly at Pinnacle, most of them are MSP based. I know that MEM is pretty senior, MSP is mid and DTW being junior. Also, Pinnacle is planing on hiring between 350-500 pilot's in 2006! They just dropped the mins. down for UND grads, so a buch of our instructors applied there last week. I think they are looking to hire about 30 pilots in March.

Had to bring that back up, huh? :)

Oh, and Max has no room to complain. He actually heard the news in person on Thursday night.

Hoping for MEM, but if I get DTW, it probably won't be too long until I can hold MEM. From what they were telling us at the interivew, all three bases are pretty much the same for FOs, but MEM is senior for captain. We'll just have to wait and see.

Dude, congrats again!

I know im posting twice, but it's really cool to hear another one succeeds in what they want to do!:rawk:
