San Antonio, Texas:<BR /><p><strong>PDS Tech Commercial is currently hiring for a Weight Operations Tech Analyst position in San Antonio, TX!</strong></p><p><p>Job Title: <strong>Weight Operations Tech Analyst</strong></p><p>Job Type: <strong>Full Time; Consultant (6 Months)</strong></p><p>Location: <strong>San Antonio, TX 78226 - 100 Onsite</strong></p><p>Shift: <strong>1st Shift 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (with occasional off-shift work required based on business need)</strong></p><p>Pay Rate: <strong>&dollar;40.00 - &dollar;43.50 per hour</strong></p><p><p><p><strong>Job Description:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Develops complex inventory equipment lists, conducts inventories, weighs aircraft, determines center of gravity of aircraft and documents results. </p></li><li><p>Prepares Chapter 2 of the Weight and Balance Manual. </p></li><li><p>Balances flight control surfaces. Calculates/adjusts weight requirements to balance flight control surfaces following repair and/or repaint. </p></li><li><p>Develops flight load planning and directs airplane loading of variable load elements.</p></li><li><p>Inspects aircraft to calculate effects of actual weight and location of variable load elements on airplane gross weight and center of gravity and prepares flight manifests for pilots signatures and flight release. </p></li><li><p>Weighs and documents actual weights and centers of gravity of components and assemblies. </p></li><li><p>Resolves complex issues with equipment, components and weighing systems.</p></li><li><p>Works under general direction. Work statement is a non-managerial role, non-leadership role</p></li></ul><p><p><p><strong>Required Qualifications (Experience/Skills):</strong></p><ul><li><p>Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor +1 years related work experience, 5 years related work experience, etc.).</p></li><li><p>Experience as load master, familiar with shifting weights (fuel, cargo etc.)</p></li><li><p>Experience performing calculations for finding the center of gravity of the aircraft using AWBS and the supporting charts/ forms.</p></li><li><p>Experience with weight and balance Forms and Charts including Chart A, Form B, Chart C, Chart E and Form F.</p></li><li><p>Current access to AWBS (Automated Weight Balance System).</p></li></ul><p><p><p><strong>Preferred Qualifications (Experience/Skills):</strong></p><ul><li><p>Current qualified to perform weight and balance on F-15, F-18, or C-17.</p></li><li><p>Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience.</p></li><li><p>10 or less domestic travel may be required (to JAX).</p></li></ul><p><br><br>Pay Details: &dollar;40.00 to &dollar;43.50 per hour <br><br>Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
