Weight and Balance of a 752

My friend flew on a short one hour flight on a 757-200. There were about 25 people onboard and before it left the gate, all
the people had to move to the back of the plane.

Why did they all have to move to the back?

25 people on a 757? seems like overkill. An EMB120 would be great for the job

when i was working for Delta the preference on the B757 was aft loading. The reason i was told-correct me if i am wrong anyone outhere not a B757 expert- was that B757 was a nose heavy acft and the aft index will be out of wack if you load too many pax and cargo on the forward. I have seen it few times where we had few pax and cargo and the aft index was out of the required margin. However, most of the time dispatcher will remove the tolerance and if not, we had to remove non-reves (of course) from first class and sit them in the back.

Was the flight from CMH to Cinncci?? Because I know delta operates a 757 from those two airports.

I often commute on DL's CMH-CVG flight and, while it is rarely full, it usually has at least 100 seats filled and often more, and it always goes with a boatload of freight. As a non-rev, I wind up in first class on that flight almost without fail.

All due respect to the Long Beach limo, Doug ... but it needs more seats in first! They always run out of seats up front before I get cleared!!!!

Light paxload, light cargo load, light fuel load, CG out of whack, move to the back (easier than loading sand or moving what few bags are on),
