I normally use a combo of DUATS & http://maps.avnwx.com/ which has some really awesome radar which you will need to enable on the control panel. I recommend everyone check it out!

1-800-WXBRIEF. The only thing I stress upon my students is that they use a wx source that is FAA approved, and logs that you actually checked your weather. Otherwise, when the FAA asks in the unfortunate event that you had a wx incursion, where did you check your wx, and you say "aviationweather.gov," they will say "sorry, no good." It needs to be logged that you checked, and you need to understand what your looking at.
