More than 2/3rds of the pilot group didn't even bother to vote, bro--so it's wrong to to say that 2/3rds voted against ALPA, even though their abstention was counted as a "no".I was very surprised that 2/3 of the pilot group voted against ALPA. From just looking at the ALPA lanyards in ORD and DEN I thought it would be much much closer.
This just reiterates the fact that unions are slowing being bled from this and other industries in our country. ... Unions are just not what they used to be. Sure seems to be a lot of "I got mine..." going on out there. :whatever:

Not sure that's really it; the working class is being conditioned to view unions as bad, as obstacles to their own prosperity. You can probably figure out who's behind the conditioning.
