WAY Back in the day!

Thats cool that they have the actual pages scanned in like that.....is there a simple search function to find other papers in similar form?

I find it weird that eggs were 50 cents a dozen back then and eggs today are....50 cents a dozen.

I'd love to get a fine steak for less than a dollar per pound!

I still remember going grocery shopping with my mom. She'd spend $80 and we'd have two carts of food. Brand name too!

Speaking of which, does anyone know how I can search for old articles from Flying Magazine?

If I were in DAB, I could go over to ERAU, but that's not an option at the moment.

I was reading up on some of the ALPA, FE, EAL issues from back in the 50's and 60's and came across this:

http://news.google.com/newspapers?n...aY1AAAAIBAJ&sjid=4BMLAAAAIBAJ&pg=4394,1184795

I knew that Google had been indexing stuff, but this is some old freakin' newspaper articles! It's kinda cool to see how things were back then. Like pork ribs for 40 cents a pound!

40 cents a pound was a lot then. Remember, that was back in the day when airline pilots made $20k a year. Oh, never mind.
