WATRS Flying Advice

Recently I started flying with a company that goes to the Carribean and uses WATRS routes. Without RNP 4 or 10 authorization is that legal? I know it used to be that without the authorization you could be rerouted etc. From all the reading I have done I still can't find a concrete answer.

Go check out the NOTAM publication. Part 3, Section 2, page 38.

Basically, you can still fly in WATRS without RNP 4 or 10, but you may not get the altitude or route you want due to the need to 90 mile spacing instead of 50. In general, best equipped gets best service.
