Walmart Corporate Flight Dispatcher

Looks like they run their shop similar to a 121 operation. I have heard Walmart (Corporate) is a terrific place to work. Rogers, AR (near XNA) is a beautiful area - 4 distinct seasons. The salary looks terrific with a max of 180K. Might be a sweet gig if you're eligible for early retirement.

Shhhhhhh. I’ve always had the impression the general dispatch community looked down on anything not 121 (despite the inherent flaws in this attitude).

Seems like Walmart puts a lot of effort into keeping their transport/logistics people happy with the high pay. They pay their over-the-road truck drivers around 90k also if not more but they require like 5 years or so of CDL experience. Their aviation department was an important function back in the Sam Walton days. They used planes to fly around and look at the best sites to open new stores - look at the whole site area from above.
