Wallet for pilot

I was having lower back pains and someone suggested moving my wallet from my back pocket to a front pocket. He said his doctor told him that he was getting a thick wallet from all of his patients who sat on thick wallets. I did it and it took a while, but the pain went away. Carrying a wallet in front may interfere with the clean cut lines of a person's silhouette, but at my age, Mother Nature already did enough damage that it doesn't matter.

My chiropractor told me the same thing. I quit carrying my wallet in my pocket years ago... I just carry it in my hand (like the worlds smallest man-purse) or in a jacket pocket or in a backpack or attache. Now on the rare occasion that I stick it in my back pocket temporarily it feels ridiculous. Can't imagine doing that again as a regular way to carry it.

Do they actually make specialized wallets for pilots?
Yes.

First, they sell them at Sporty's™, which makes it 100% authentic pilot gear.
Second, they have an E6B on the outside flap, which can be clipped to a Sporty's™ kneeboard, it's a completely integrated product line
Thirdly (yes that's a word), it announces to the world that you are a pilot without you having to say it, kinda like aviators, leather jackets, and scarfs. A great conversation starter!™

I carry mine in my right front pocket.

I use the Sporty's AOPA wallet, and I have had my medical in there for almost 3 years now, (I'm due next month), and it is still in great shape.
My fiancee got me that wallet a few years back, it's held up well. The medical pouch seemed to latch on to some of the ink from my medical. Since I've laminated it I don't have to worry with that anymore though

I used to have a big lunker (mostly paper and cards, no cash) that I used to carry around in my back pocket and would have to take it out to sit or I would be hurting later. I was always afraid I would forget it on a plane. Then I switched and lived happily ever after.....

I hate you btw. I may have to break my rule now.

I haven't purchased one (yet). My wallet tends to stay pretty thin (not because I'm a pilot, because I'm not a pro pilot, but because I rarely carry cash, etc.), but I may get this purely out of aesthetics.
