Waiting on the FAA.

I'm still waiting on my actual license from the FAA and it looks like my temp license has expired. Oh and I have job interview on Monday...

What should I do? Who do I need to call? Where should I go? Am I at all still a legal dispatcher?

I guess you should contact the nearest FAA FSDO. I also notice there's an Airmen Certification on-line services site that may be useful in your situation.

According to the FAA Airmen Certification home page, they're currently processing permanent airmen certificates for temporary certificates issued approximately October 21st. I would've called a month after it went past your issuing date.

You can request verification of your dispatcher certificate by going to

http://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/airmen_certification/

At the bottom of the page is this link

http://www.faa.gov/licenses_certificates/airmen_certification/new_verification_info/

When you register and go through the process what you'll get is an email saying that such and such certificate has been issued to you. Print that off and take it with you to the interview. ANd take your temporary certificate with you as well. Then get on the phone with the FAA ASAP and ask WTF?

Just go to a FSDO or a CMO....they can issue an airman certificate but make an appointment!!

What he said,
The local FSDO can issue a field issuance but then call the issuing examiner to check on it. I always recommended an applicant contact them by 90 days after issuance so it doesn't expire.
Good luck.

I got my CFI cert on day 111, didn't realise you could go to a CMO. (Does this only work for dispatchers?)

Alex.

Where in NY? As long as the a Aviation Safety Inspector - Dispatch, you should be able to get a ticket printed---that's according to my Dispatch Inspector.

Long Island, but it's not a big deal, I plan to call the office in OK tomorrow, see if they can give me any info. If not I'll stop by the FSDO near me.

Had to go there over the summer to fix an error with my License paperwork. Nice guys up there.
