I just received an email saying I made the referral list on my application earlier this year. Does this mean anything? Is there anything I can do to make it mean more? I turn 31 in January :-/

I think a lot of people got an e-mail about it but there is no indication that any panel has been held. Just cross your fingers that they have one this fall with the start of the new FY.

I was hanging out with some of the tower controllers yesterday and heard about a woman who didn't go to OKC until she was 36, good to know.

i worked with a controller at ZAU this happened to,in 1991 was offered the job when he was 29, the FFA canceled his class and said will call you when the next class starts.......... and they did 8 years later when he was 37.
