Volunteering on reserve

Old thread but does anyone live and volunteer around NJ. I'm a new regional FO with some time on my hands. Starting to volunteer weekly at a hospice facility. Looking for other positions that will make me a well rounded guy and to stand out a bit.
 
If anyone is interested in financial literacy (which frankly who doesn't need a dose in that from time to time?), a good and flexible volunteer opportunity is with Junior Achievement. In many locations, they have BizTown and Finance Park - and you can sign up the week of, and even the day before. It is an all day thing, but you work with grades 6-8, in various capacities and it is not only a lot of fun, but as an example here in Atlanta, Delta sponsors it.

This is a video about the Atlanta location - there are actually two now. This video is specific to BizTown, but Finance Park is about a simulated household with a job, and budget.
