Vision 737 impounded

We worked with them on some NASCAR charters a few years back, great crews but man that is embarrassing.

They've had a habit of parking their planes at SDF until the airport gets pissed and they move it. They've had 2 767s parked on the cargo ramp since July that haven't moved or had engine plugs the entire time. After a 737 charter last week they parked it between them and haven't moved that since either. Really weird stuff. It seems like every airport they operated at has come after them for not paying up.

A friends dad had a 767 repo'd from him.
His correct ADM was to run to a ticketing counter and buy a ticket home before company could cancel his credit card.
Weird way to end a carrier of flying.

"Allegiant is like Coke and we're like Pepsi".-Vision CEO

Uh, no. Allegiant is like Coke and you're like flat, warm Fresca. Sorry.

Is Vision still planning on flying a 767-200 from LAX-SEA-ICN? Taking an ailing airplane with less capacity and fuel economy than any of the competitors and launching a route on a market that is over saturated from any standpoint (LAX-ICN, SEA-LAX, and SEA-ICN are all very well served) makes me wonder if something sketchy is going on cargo wise.

No idea how factual they were, but I heard a lot of stories from my time at the Canyon about interesting "cargo". Late night flights pulling directly into hangers, etc. Who knows. Wondering if the 767 guys ever got the hazard pay that the company stole from them.

I know a saw a white Dash-8-100/200 with the "Vision" logo on the tail make a few appearances at a hanger Vision used in SDF, yet not one person I've met who ever flew for Vision knew anything about the company flying a Dash-8. And I can't find pictures of it or any documentation that Vision ever flew a Dash-8. Kinda weird.

You noticed that too huh? I was at the restaurant at the hotel eating dinner and a couple of pilots were retelling their epic flights... I'd figured out that they were Vision and asked what the deal was with the Dash-8 near Atlantic. They said they couldn't talk about it. Hmm.
