VFR Flight Plans

The last time I tried using Lockheed...calling up to open our VFR flight plan, "Hold on NXXX, you are number eight in my queue" So I said back, okay we'll just use traffic advisories with the Center. Then he tried to talk me out of it instead of moving on to the other people waiting in line.
