Very interesting LCC article!

At Delta when a plane arrives late, i have seen some Captains or First Officers help the cleaner while one of them is in the cockpit. I wish there were a few more of them sometimes

. --BTW- the worst thing we ever found on an aircraft while cleaning was a used condom on the last seat tucked in a blanket. I wonder where the flight attendants were when these paxs crowned themselves into the "mile high" club?

And I wonder if it was only pax.

If you think about it though, 3 people at $10/hr clean about 2 planes an hour. In the end $30 to have planes sparkling can go a long way to impress pax and bring them back to you on their next flight.

Well the employees might only get 30 bucks, but it costs the company about 45.

but nevertheless its great to have a clean plane. SWA flights are kinda nasty, but I still fly them cuz they are cheap!
